Food & Drink

Cheddar Cheese and cider are synonymous with Somerset but it doesn't stop there.

Enjoy locally produced ice creams, buffalo, locally smoked meats and fish including eel from the River Parrett.  Cider brandy, local gins and craft beers are all produced here too.

Our acres of rolling countryside are perfect for picnics with views to die for. Visit the many local farm shops who'll be delighted to help you put your feast together.

For ideas and inspiration, take a look at section 6 in our Things to Do Guide. There is something for every taste and budget!

To use, open up the food and drink directory and click on the category you are interested in. They will then appear on the map.  Click on the icon and then click on the left side again to bring up the details.
