The Levels and Moors

The Levels and Moors lie in the heart of Somerset. They are one of lowland Britain's most unchanged landscapes, only a few meters above sea level and regularly flooded in winter.

With the aid of these circular walks, discover an area rich in character and history, dotted with orchards, woods, withy beds and medieval churches.

The Levels and Moors Walk Pack details 10 circular walks which takes in the following:

  1. Martock
    approx 3.75 miles - 1.75 hours
  2. Long Sutton
    approx 5 miles - 2.25 hours
  3. Compton Dundon
    approx 4.25 miles - 2.25 hours
  4. Langport
    approx 5.25 miles - 2.5 hours
  5. Kingsbury Episcopi
    approx 5 miles - 2 hours
  6. Isle Abbots
    approx 4.25 miles - 2.25 hours
  7. Midelney
    approx 5.5 miles - 2.25 hours
  8. Curry Rivel
    approx 5.25 miles - 1.75 hours
  9. Aller
    approx 6 miles - 2.75 hours
  10. High Ham
    approx 2 miles - 1.25 hours
