Market Towns and Villages

Take time to explore the market towns and you will find historic houses, beautiful churches, buildings used for the traditional industries of glove and rope making, interesting museums and fascinating street names.

Far enough away from the larger towns with their chain stores and supermarkets the market towns can still maintain a range of small shops: butchers and bakers, hardware stores, clothes shops, books and antiques and many places to eat and drink, from quaint old hostelries to modern bistro nd fine dining in smart restaurants.

Bruton
